Below is a list of top players from our Memorial Day weekend tournaments. All players were hand picked by Pastime’s Tier 1 scouts who spend all weekend identifying talent amongst every tournament labeled “All Scout”. We know that players can have a bad weekend and one scout could rank a player lower than another could. Each player that is labeled as a top player of the weekend will receive an invite to the All Scout Championship individual event in August.

Cash Money: Very consistent in keeping the ball in front of him all weekend.
Kort Sears: Best all-around player in the 14u Columbus event. Throws his fastball 76-79mph effortlessly w/ control. Has good speed and uses the entire field with pop at the plate.
Derek Curry: Great hitter with lots of speed. Hits gap to gap with juice. Great outfielder and plus runner.
Alec Schaublin: Power bat with loud contact all day. Good defensive catcher with quick release.
Diego Astacio: Extremely smooth lefty swing, natural ballplayer, busted out of the box and plays with passion, seems like he has the “it” factor.
Harrison Brewster: Solid build and frame. Made great plays at SS and was super smooth, has a +++ arm across the diamond. Potential stud.
Ronnie Rowley: Smooth mechanics, works quick, threw five scoreless innings while pounding the zone. Smooth and composed at the plate and can hit to all fields.
Jackson Bredensteiner: Solid player, good actions at SS, above avg arm.
Ty Nicholson: Starts with his feet slightly open, toe taps and has some length to his stride foot. Uses small movements with his hands during load. Has a straight to the ball swing and a lower, two-handed finish. Hits up against a firm but not stiff front side. The ball already has carry off his bat, but there appears to be a lot more power to come!
Cole Skinner: Good level swing, stays on pitches well. Showed the ability to hit the ball hard to all fields. Good baserunner w/ plus speed.
Will Rhodes: Solid prospect and definite follow in the class of 2025. At the plate, he showed an explosive lower half. He has a quick bat and should only add power as he becomes stronger. He was 5.34 home-to-first on a single to LF but slipped coming out of the box.
Hansel Holmes: All around great player, hit balls hard every AB, made some nice defensive plays, solid build.
Ty Barnes: Strong build, can run the bases and plays hard. Has fast bat speed and plays to all fields, has sneaky pop as well.
Ronnie Rowley: Sits 71-74 T75 and has a hammer curve at 60-62. Smooth mechanics and works quick, threw 5 scoreless and pounded the zone. Smooth and composed at the plate, lefty who can hit to all fields
